Specialties Seattle
The International Academy of Design & Technology (IADT) - Seattle campus was established in 2004.) The Seattle campus is a branch campus of the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, Florida. The school offers specialized associate and bachelor degrees with programs in various design specialties. Credit hours at IADT - Seattle are based on quarter terms: Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring.
The Seattle location has two in-house design studios: The Agency, a graphic design agency and The Studio, an interior design group. Both groups function as real-world design businesses and complete projects for Seattle area businesses. For the past two years, IADT – Seattle has put on “La Mode: An Evening of Fashion.” IADT Interior Design students create the set design for the fashion show and student designers create the designs for the models. In 2006, more than 700 guests attended the show including Nick Verreos and Andrae Gonzalo of Bravo TV's PROJECT RUNWAY.
