Tropicana Bakery

 Tropicana Bakery

The bakery lines aren't as long as Portos, but it feels like it takes a lot longer! The ordering system is a bit more messy too. After you pick your pastries, you literally have to stand around and wait for almost 10 minutes before the cashiers call you name to pay. It gets confusing because it is super loud in there too so you might not here your name get called with all the people crowding around. *Guava and cheese pastry - Very dense. Tasted dry and not super fresh. Although I Iiked that it wasn't too sweet. *Cheese roll - Dry. Forgettable*Guava cheesecake - I was hoping this would be the winner but it was to sweet and the guava flavor wasn't very strong. I was hoping that the guava is mixed into the cheesecake batter but it was layered on top. I've had awesome guava cheesecake before and this was a disappointment. The baked goods were a disappointment for me. I definitely prefer Porto's pastries. The pastries at Portos are just lighter, fresher and constructed better.
