Bakery Minneapolis
A foodie’s paradise, Minneapolis has no shortage of excellent bakeries. Here are five you absolutely must visit the next time you’re in the land of 10,000 lakes. Patisserie 46Specializing in artisanal breads and pastries, this unpretentious bakery has made an impression on foodies from all over the world (it was recently named one of the world's best patisseries by National Geographic). The pastries are as beautiful as they are delicious. I recommended grabbing an espresso, a chocolate and almond croissant, and enjoying Patisserie 46’s laidback atmosphere. Rustica Rustica offers a variety of breads, rolls, cookies, and some the best traditional pastries in the Twin Cities. Some of the “don’t miss” items include the apricot soleil, bittersweet chocolate cookies, olive rolls, baguettes, and pain levain. All the breads are sampled at the counter, so don’t be afraid to explore. When stopping by Rustica, be sure to grab a breakfast plate; it consists of 2 slices of your favorite bread, a large pat of Vermont Butter & Cheese Company butter, and a dollop of jam. Pair that with a cup of fresh java and enjoy Rustica's clean, lively ambiance.
