Weather For Tomorrow

  Weather For Tomorrow

In their text with the watch, the National Weather Service mentioned 3-4″ possible on top of the 1″or so that we get today. However, some models have updated since then. Before we get to that, let’s talk about the setup. Now there is a tropical depression down just south of Florida this morning. It may become a tropical storm later todayTropical Depression 16 This storm will move over Florida today which could cause some weakening as it moves over land. Now I’ve been talking about this weather pattern setup for days, so there is no surprise here. I’ve also said numerous times that this system won’t be tropical as it moves up here. It will become subtropicalor extratropical. This means that the system will be broader, have some cold air wrapping in, and will be affected more by upper level winds than warm ocean waters. The depression will interact with the stationary front that is sitting over us today as it moves over Florida:Today's Weather Map
It will move right along this front and head towards North Carolina. Tomorrow the low will force tropical moisture against the cooler air mass.
