Thunder Vs Heat
The NBA Finals begin tonight in Oklahoma City, as the Thunder and Heat will square off for an NBA Championship. Besides the fact that these are arguably the two best teams in the league, they have the two best players in the world. The Heat have MVP LeBron James and the Thunder have NBA scoring champion Kevin Durant. Each team also has two of the top guards in the league, the Dwayne Wade (Heat) and Russel Westbrook (OKC). This finals matchup is so intriguing for so many reasons, this is the first time that the scoring champ and MVP have faced each other in the finals since MJ and Karl Malone. There is a lot more than that, so lets get right into it. Drafted Big 3 vs. Signed Big 3 The Thunder and Heat have the two best “Big 3′s” in basketball, but both are very different. The Thunders Big 3 was assembled through the draft, while the Heat signed two of the three players via free agency in 2010. For example, the Thunder have 3 guards with one of their players coming off the bench and the Heat have a guard and two forwards.
