Google Safe Search

 Google Safe Search

In short this tutorial goes some way towards facilitating a Google safe search environment. As I previously pointed out, you can choose to personalize your search results even further but you will need to be an account holder in order to do so. As is, you can define your preference simply by performing a few clicks of your mouse, which will still afford you the peace of mind that goes with knowing your children are safe as can be online. The first thing you will need to do is to bring up Google global preferences page. If you follow the tutorial gallery below, the steps are simple enough and you shouldn’t have any problems. Once you have the page open, scroll down to where it says ‘safe search filtering’. You can see the three-tier level of searches, which is pretty self-explanatory. By default it’s set up to moderately filter web content so from a parent’s perspective, the ‘strict filtering’ option is the best one, as it’s as close to being Google for kids as it gets. Again, following the image tutorial in order to make sure you’ve altered your preferences.
