Memorex Dvd R Dl

Memorex Dvd R Dl

DVD+R Double Layer discs are write-once and burn at 2 depths on 1 side of the disc. Capable of storing up to 8.5GB of data and approximately 240 minutes of video playback using existing DVD players. It allows the storage of long length programming, sporting events and video footage on 1 disc (an additional 120 minutes more than regular DVDs).People rating these discs 1 star and to the fellow who mentioned that the "people who say they have burnt 200+ discs is bogus" is just bogus themselves. First, the only times I've had problems with these discs (or any Dual Layer media) are when you burn them too fast. Dual Layer discs don't seem to work that well when burned at max speed. Instead drop your speed to 4x or 2.4x. If you cry because it takes too long, walk away and make dinner or something. Second, make sure you're using a dual layer burner. Third, try to find discs with the AZO ink. Personally I will continue to buy these discs (when I'm lower on cash), but the Verbatim Dual Layer discs are better by far.
